These Terms of Use explain how this website may be used. By using this website, sending an enquiry, or booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
This website belongs to Sagal Hassan, ACP-registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (Association of Child Psychotherapy membership no: 5727).
About this website
This website provides information about my private child and adolescent psychotherapy practice, including parent consultation, initial assessment, psychotherapy, locations, fees and booking arrangements.
The information on this website is general. It is intended to help parents, carers, young people and referrers understand the kind of work I offer. It is not a substitute for a clinical assessment, medical advice, safeguarding advice, or urgent mental health support.
No emergency or crisis service
This website and my private practice do not provide an emergency service.
If there is an immediate risk to your child, another person, or yourself, please contact emergency services, attend A&E, contact your GP, or use the relevant local urgent mental health or safeguarding service.
Emails, website forms and booking requests are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent concerns.
Professional information
I am an ACP-registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. I work in accordance with the professional standards, ethical expectations and practice requirements of the Association of Child Psychotherapists.
My work may include parent consultation, initial assessment, individual psychotherapy, parent work, parent-child work, intensive psychotherapy where clinically appropriate, and liaison with schools or healthcare professionals where agreed.
An enquiry, discovery call, parent consultation or initial assessment does not guarantee that I will offer ongoing psychotherapy. I only offer treatment where I believe it is clinically appropriate and within the scope of my competence.
Booking and payment
Parent consultations and initial assessments may be booked and paid for online through a secure third-party booking and payment provider, currently Square.
Ongoing psychotherapy cannot be booked directly through the website. It can only begin after assessment, once we have agreed that psychotherapy with me is the right next step.
Fees, cancellation terms and attendance expectations are set out on the Booking & Fees page and may be updated from time to time.
Third-party platforms
This website may link to third-party services, including Square for booking and payment. These third-party platforms have their own terms, privacy notices and security arrangements.
I am not responsible for the content, policies or technical operation of third-party websites or platforms.
Accuracy of information
I aim to keep this website accurate and up to date. However, information about availability, fees, services, locations and policies may change.
The most current arrangements will be confirmed during booking, consultation or assessment.

The text, images, structure and content on this website belong to Sagal Hassan unless otherwise stated. You may read, download or print pages for personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce, adapt or use the content commercially without permission.
