A Parent Consultation is the directly bookable entry point to my practice. It is a focused online appointment for parents who want to understand what may be happening and decide what support, if any, should follow.
£200 · 40 minutes · Online · Your child does not attend
Before you book
The consultation:
can stand alone as the complete intervention;
does not guarantee assessment or the ongoing psychotherapy programme;
is not an emergency, crisis or diagnostic service;
is paid in full at booking;
requires at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel; contact me directly about a prepaid cancellation;
allows appointment time changes with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to a suitable alternative.
What to bring
Your booking confirmation will arrive from Square. I will send your Zoom invitation and optional preparation form separately before our meeting. You do not need to prepare a formal history. It may be useful to think about:
what changed and when;
what your child is now unable or unwilling to do;
what seems to make things better or worse;
school, friendship, family, health or neurodevelopmental context;
previous help and how your child experienced it;
the decision you most need help making now.
