Highgate, North London
My principal private-practice room is at 62A Highgate High Street, London N6 5HX. It offers a calm, private setting for assessment, weekly child and adolescent psychotherapy and parent appointments.
Online
While parent consultations take place online, making it easier to access support quickly and flexibly, I generally prefer psychotherapy for children and young people to take place in person. However, some young people engage well online, and aspects of ongoing work may take place remotely where this is clinically appropriate. I also offer hybrid arrangements for internationally mobile families, including families where a child attends boarding school or parents live abroad. Each child and young person is different, so the suitability of online therapy can be considered during the initial assessment phase.
Home visits when leaving home is difficult
For some young people, leaving home is not currently possible. I can offer home visits by arrangement, allowing psychotherapy to begin in a familiar setting without making a journey to the consulting room the first hurdle.
We agree how to create a private, manageable space for appointments and review the setting as the work develops.
